Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie Mugen Train is the first film of the popular manga Kimetsu no Yaiba’ by Koyoharu Gotouge. There is no official premiere date but it is scheduled to be released in 2020. The movie is directed by Haruo Sotozaki, character designs are by Akira Matsushima, and production is handled by studio Ufotable. Plot The movie is a direct sequel to Season 1 of the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. It covers the “Demon Train” Arc from the Manga Chapters 53 to 66. Tanjiro Kamada, Nezuko Kamado in her box, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibara are sent on a mission to head to the Infinite Train, where more than 40 people have gone missing. It is reported that an Upper Twelve Moon Demon is involved. The group must join with one of the Pillars on site, Kyojiro Rengoku, to defeat the Demon. The group buys tickets to board the Infinity Train and begin searching for Kyojiro Rengoku, the current Flame Pillar. The group meets up with him and Rengoku informs them about his mission to kill the Demon responsible for multiple disappearances on the train. The group and Kyojiro fall asleep due to Enmu’s abilities. Enmu is the Lower Moon One and has the ability to enter, manipulate, and control someone’s dreams. He uses these powers to convince the five civilians on the train to help him kill the Demon Slayers by promising each of them a heartwarming, sweet dream. However, the civilians fail to kill the Demon Slayers and they all wake up from the dream. The train itself becomes part of Enmu, the group ends up needing to protect the rest of the citizens. While Rengoku, Nezuko and Zenitsu who are still asleep continue protecting the civilians, Inosuke and Tanjiro manage to find the bone of the Demon’s neck. Tanjiro uses the Breath of the Fire God to decapitate Enmu, though he is stabbed in the stomach by the train conductor in the process. The train stops and Rengoku guides Tanjiro to control his breathing to stop the bleeding. As Tanjiro heals himself, another Demon arrives in front of the two and attacks them. The Demon is another member of the Twelve Demon Moons, ranked as Upper Moon Three. The Demon introduces himself as Akaza and launches multiple attacks at Rengoku. Finding out that Rengoku is a Pillar, Akaza proposes that he should become a Demon to reach a newfound level of strength. Rengoku declines the proposal and tells him that he will never become a Demon. Akaza unleashes his Blood Demon Art Technique Deployment and attacks Rengoku. Rengoku must fight against Akaza by himself to protect everyone. Characters There are 5 characters that are confirmed to be in the movie from the official Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime Website and the trailer. These five characters are Tanjiro Kamada - the main protagonist of the series. One day his family was slaughtered by a demon and his sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. This was all caused by a Demon named Muzan Kibutsuji, who is the progenitor of other Demons and the main antagonist. In order to turn his sister back to human, Tanjiro becomes a Demon Slayer and joins the Demon Slayer Corp. He travels around with other Demon Slayer members to complete missions and to find a cure for Nezuko. Nezuko Kamada - Tanjiro’s younger sister who was once an ordinary human girl, but one day turned into a Demon by Muzan Kibutsuji. Even though she is a Demon, she has the ability to survive without consuming human blood. In exchange she must sleep to recover her strength. She travels around with Tanjiro and stays inside a small box during the day to avoid sunlight. Zenitsu Agatsuma - one of the main characters and a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. He completed the Final Selection with Tanjiro and is his travel companion. He has a cowardly personality and thinks he is useless despite having considerable strength. He was trained by a former Thunder Pillar and uses the Breath of Thunder Style. Inosuke Hashibara - also one of the main characters and a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. He passed the same selection as Tanjiro and Zenitsu. He is a short-tempered young man who always challenges people and hates losing. He has muscular build and wears a boar’s head to cover his feminine face. Ever since he was a baby he was raised by boars, hence he uses his original Breath of the Beast Style. Kyojuro Rengoku - the current Flame Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps, the strongest and most skilled swordsmen in the entire organization. He is also the user of the Breath of Flames Style. No entanto, o episódio 9 não atinge todo o seu potencial, apresentando algumas pelo confronto entre Muichiro Tokito e Gyokko, é extremamente gratificante ver Muichiro finalmente derrotar Gyokko, um vilão detestável.
